Agape Message was founded by Christina Ajagbe as a result of the vision God gave her in 2003 to setup a website that will enable fellowship, evangelise everyone and disciple Christians (FEED). This is about being obedient to the command Jesus gave Peter, in John 21:17 “Feed My sheep”. Therefore the Agape Message team are carrying this vision forward so that the will and purpose of God will be fulfilled in the life of every child of God and people will be drawn into the kingdom of God.
Our Mission
Agape Message is about communicating the message of God’s love to people so that they will have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, be established in Him and become intimate with God; thereby God’s will and purpose may be fulfilled in their lives.
Statement of Faith
We at Agape Message believe:
- The bible is the inspired Word of God through the Holy Spirit.
- God our heavenly Father is our Creator.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was crucified, died and buried. On the third day Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, where He remains at the right hand of God Almighty.
- The Holy Spirit is our Helper. We recognise the Holy Spirit as a member of the trinity, continually at work convicting, convincing and comforting.
- Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved.
- The second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is imminent.
- Without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is acting on the Word of God.
- Give freely to support the work of the Kingdom of God through tithe and offering first to your local church or fellowship and then other works for the kingdom of God.
- Giving to the poor, sick, homeless and others in despair out of a willing heart.
Our Vision
Help people to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ so that they may be saved.
Help people to be established in God through discipleship.
Engage in community activities or events not contrary to our Christian faith, in order to develop relationship and a link for Christ.
Giving voluntary support or aid to charitable organisations in the community and supporting people with various kinds of needs.
